    Тиват Тиват

Here we board the ship and begin our journey. Sailing out from the ship, you can appreciate the scale of the port and the time to take photos against the backdrop of mega-yachts, and also guess the riddle - what is the operating principle of this sundial?

We will sail through the Tivat and Herceg-Nov bays, admiring the coastal resorts and villages.

From the sea we will admire one of the most famous cities and resorts of Montenegro -Herceg Novi. This city is a fort of medieval pirates and bandits. Its powerful walls impress people to this day. And at the exit from the bay there is an unusual island with its local inhabitants - seagulls and hares. At first it had the name Swallow because of its first settlers, and then it was renamedMamula Island, in honor of the famous Serbian general in the service of the Austro-Hungarians in the mid-19th century.

You can also visit for an additional fee (only 5 euros per person from 5 to 10 years old / 10 euros per person from 10 years old) the famous Blue Cave "Plava Spilja". Truly one of the most beautiful places on the coast of Montenegro. The water in the grotto is unusually clean, and the rays of the sun reflect from its surface and create an indescribable play of colors on the stone vault - from turquoise to ultramarine. We advise you to swim and take pictures in this wonderful shelter!

Голубой грот Черногория Голубой грот Черногория

After resting, the ship will move in the opposite direction. Along the way we will come to the old Yugoslav secret naval base. This is a large tunnel in the mountain, into which submarines and boats sailed for repairs and rearmament during the times of Yugoslavia.

You can have lunch along the way.

If you wish, a lunch break is provided right there on the ship, so as not to waste time and see more, with an assortment of fish or meat to suit your taste! The menu with restaurant prices on the ship is presented from 2018.

Sailing the entire Boka Kotor Bay we will see one of the oldest cities on the coast Perast. This is the famous refuge of all Montenegrin captains and sailors.

    Пераст Пераст

By order of Peter I, it was ordered to build a naval school here for the children of our Russian nobles. He also sent his subjects here to learn maritime skills from the Montenegrins. And the school was eventually headed by the great navigator Marko Martinovich, who glorified this place. Thanks to the Montenegrins, 633 ships were built in St. Petersburg and only 37 on their own. The town is not large, but it has become a favorite place for all tourists. It is rich in museums, churches, monuments and palaces. Today it represents one of the most beautiful examples of Baroque architecture on the shores of the Adriatic. In the Middle Ages, navigation and fishing were very developed. More than three hundred buildings are real palaces that were built on the coast and hillsides with income from maritime trade and customs privileges. Also, military campaigns against pirates brought considerable income - the wealth gained in battles helped decorate the city.

    Пераст Черногория Пераст Черногория

And very close there are two islands: Sveti Georgi (St. George, also known as the Island of the Dead with cypress trees) and Gospa od Shkrpela (island of the Holy Mother of God or as they also call it - the Mother of God on Rif), who is the patroness of all sailors and captains.

    Бока бухта остров Святого Георгия

This is a unique place built by human hands back in 1452. Our guide will tell you an unusual story about the formation of this island. Its area is 3030 m2, we will visit with you a Catholic church with an unusual altar made of four types of marble: yellow, brown, white and gray-green - this particular Greek subspecies no longer exists in the world. Previously, 20 kg of silver were given for 1 kg of marble.

See the largest collection of sailor amulets in Europe - silver, bronze and gold coinage - about 2500 pieces. A functioning organ that is over 300 years old and a Murano glass chandelier (150 years old). And later we’ll go up to the second floor of the church to the maritime museum with various archaeological finds and gifts from seafarers!

Котор храм Святого Николая Котор церковь Святого Луки

Also, our guide will give you some free time for an independent walk around the Old Town. You can sit in local restaurants, drink soft drinks and simply buy various souvenirs and things for yourself and your family!

Tip:in your free time you should not go shopping and souvenir shops, as well as climb the fortress, since in Kotor it takes about 1 hour, and climbing the fortress at an average pace takes 2.5 time in both directions hours.

    Котор Котор

We say this: “The best way to see the Old Town of Kot is to get lost in it!” :) But don’t worry, because you’re unlikely to get lost, since the whole city is just 5-10 minutes along or across.

    Котор Бока Которская бухта

Kotor is the last stop on the program. The best time to visit it is in the evening, since by this time the sun is no longer so strong and you can enjoy a walk along its medieval streets. Those who have little time in Kotor can stay and walk longer after the excursion, and then get there on their own by taxior bus.

After the walk from the river pier, the whole group transfers to buses and returns to the resort of your residence - to the same stop from where you left for the excursion in the morning.

The excursion is not tiring and ideal for families with children, lovers of history and seascapes.

We return around 16:00 depending on the departure point.

    Excursion details

    1. The excursion takes place only with a Russian-speaking, experienced, licensed guide! There may be several foreign groups on the ship, but our group necessarily has its own Russian-speaking guide.
    2. Attention: at the beginning of the season (May/June) and at the end (September/October) annually due to the beginning/end of the tourist season and the small number of tourists for the group excursion Boka Kotor Bay in Montenegro, the excursion route may be slightly shortened and the large ship may be replaced by a small boat if there are not enough tourists. The ship may change depending on the number of tourists gathered on the day of the excursion. The program will be as follows: your departure resort - Tivat - by boat along the Tivat, Risan and Kotor Bays - to the island of the Virgin Mary on the reef - Kotor - your residence resort.
    3. Excursions in Montenegrostart from the bus stops indicated at the time of booking. Due to the dense, chaotic development on the coast and mountainous terrain, buses cannot travel to every hotel or villa, so tourists go to certain places. When booking, choose the nearest stop from your place of residence.
    4. The Boka Kotor Bay excursion takes place in any weather. In windy weather or in high seas on the open sea (not in the bay), for the safety of passengers, the ship's captain may prohibit the ship from entering the Herceg-Novsky Bay and the Blue Cave. In summer this happens very rarely, the cost does not change.
    5. A full lunch on the ship will cost about 17 euros without drinks, you can order it on the spot. It is better to take drinks with you, as prices in the restaurant on the ship are a little more expensive. We are not the organizer of food on the ship and everything connected with it: menu, prices, waiters, waiting for orders, cooks, etc.
    6. During the peak season there can be a lot of people, but this disadvantage is covered by a large ship with 3 decks, which does not make you sick! Unlike other agencies, where many tourists are put on a small ship, that as a result, it can be very crowded - we never ignore the established rule of the prescribed number of tourists on board. More space and action is a huge plus of a large ship, where you can go to all sides for a 360-degree view of the scenery.
    7. The seating of tourists on the ship is free-form unless the guide tells you where our group's seats are. Approach the guide in advance and ask where the best seats are so that you can take them immediately upon boarding the ship. There are no speakers at the end of the ship - this is made for those tourists who do not want to listen to the guide and enjoy the entire walk in silence, so choose on your own what you like and your seats.
    8. We are not the organizer of a boat trip to the Plava Spire grotto, transport and everything connected with it, and the organizer of excursions does not take responsibility for this. You coordinate your boat trip yourself with the guide on site. The guide simply helps you and the boat captain assemble the group, and you pay the other organizer directly on the spot.
    9. The excursion is considered more walking than excursion, so the program corresponds to the description.
