You cannot say: “I saw Montenegro” if you have not visited the north of the country. This is a special part of it, and we invite you to purchase a tour on an amazing, incomparable journey with us.
The tour will start around 07:00 in the morning.  Even if you are not staying in Budva, we will take you along the entire coast, thereby you will have a chance to admire the coast. Don't forget to take warm clothes with you: temperatures in the north and coast may be different. Comfortable shoes and scarves to cover your shoulders and legs, since our program includes a visit to a monastery. The route passes through mountain passes, ЦEtinje (passing) and the capital Podgorica.

This route passes along high-altitude (but safe) roads.

The first stop will be at the observation deck - 850 meters on Mount Brajici, from which a magnificent panorama opens. Budva Riviera, the sea and the island of St. Nicholas!

We will drive through almost the entire country and before reaching the border with Bosnia, the first canyon of the Nevidio River awaits us, it will remain in Torona, since there is no road to it. It is called that way, from the word “Invisible”. Its length is only 3.5 km, and its width, in one place, reaches 40-50 cm.

The first stop will be at a very interesting monastery. From the outside it looks like an ordinary big house, but inside it is an unusual storehouse of spirituality and treasures. The ancient frescoes from floor to ceiling will make you look at yourself with great curiosity. And it is called the Beer Monastery. Yes yes, that's right! It was named after the river that flows nearby, which means “drinking”.

After the holy places there will be the Piva River Canyon(flooded)and Piva Lake. Amazingly emerald colored water, which reflects the majestic mountains and blue sky. Its length is 48 km between the mountains in a flooded gorge. The depth reaches 200 m and is the largest source and reservoir of drinking water in Europe. There are 2 types of fish: lake trout - up to 25 kg and chub - up to 3 kg.

We will climb the Durmitor mountain range to an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level. Alpine meadows and a stone sea, as we call this area, will surround us around every turn. 

Many people even compare this territory to the surface of the Moon.

Afterwards we will move towards the city of Zabljak. This area is one of the five national parks of Montenegro, called Durmitor, listed under the protection of UNESCO as a world natural and geographical site. The highest peaks of the country are also located here - Mount Bobotov Kuk (2522 meters above sea level). And at the foot is the famous Black Lake with its clear, clear water. You are allowed to swim if you wish. Don't forget to bring your swimwear. And those who don’t want to can go boating for an additional fee. There will be enough time to walk, take photos and enjoy the colorful scenery.

Very often people come here to walk with their children, do yoga and just breathe fresh air! 

Then our path will take to the Tara River Canyon, which is the second largest in the world. The depth is more than 1300 meters, and the length is 78 km. This is also what happens here.Rafting is the most exciting extreme adventure in Montenegro!

You can also see the Djurdjevic Bridge, a great building of the mid-20th century. The length of one of the spans is 108 meters above the abyss, and the height is more than 150 m. Although the bridge is a car bridge, all tourists are still allowed to cross on foot from one bank to the other and even take photographs, since this is one of the main attractions and tourist routes of all tourists.

After enjoying the beauty of the stormy colors, we will pave the route to the south of Montenegro. Along the way, we will pass through another canyon along the Komarnitsa River.

Here we will stop for lunch at a national restaurant with its delicacies: Lamb under Sachem, Pršut, homemade cheeses and much more. Having eaten deliciously, we will move in the very gorge of the Tara River, where the rocks of the Canyon will constantly hang above you. Many stops are planned on the terraces along the road, from which the most picturesque views will open.

Next to the road, surrounded by mountain streams, is one of the oldest sanctuaries - the Moraca Monastery. The church itself is dedicated to the Dormition of the Virgin Mary and dates back to the 12th century. To this day, frescoes with the faces of the Virgin Mary and Christ have been preserved; as well as 11 scenes illustrating the life of the prophet Elijah. A separate place is allocated for the icons of St. Semeon and Sveti Sava - the work of Kozma the Great himself. Here you can light candles for Health and Repose, write notes, buy icons and brojanitsa - Serbian-Montenegrin amulets.

Literally at the entrance to the capital we will stop at the last canyon - the Moraca River. We all know how earth and sky should be in relation to each other, but here everything is completely different. The steep cliffs of the vertical walls will make you feel the irresistible power of nature. We will move along steep cliffs, and the shore opposite is also vertical and will be located only 30 - 50 meters from us. The sky somewhere above appears as a narrow strip, reflected in the emerald water of the seething stream.

Through the main city of the country - Podgorica, we will head back to the coast.

Numerous photo stops and a lunch break are planned along the entire route, which is provided in a national restaurant with famous local food: Yagnetina from pod Sachem, grilled trout, dried meat prosciutto, cheese, chorby (local soups), kajmak, Shopska salad, young red wine and much more on your taste and choice!
