The first sightseeing tour you need to visit is Montenegro Tour. Here you will get acquainted with the deep history and Montenegrin traditions of our region. You will visit the ancient capital Cetinje with the monastery and visit the village of Njegushi with a tasting of Pršut and homemade cheese. We will rise 1000 meters above the sea to admire the Bay of Kotor from a bird's eye view and, of course, walk with a guide through the medieval city of Kotor - the pearl of the Adriatic!

The tour starts in the morning at 09.00. Even if you are not staying in Budva, we will take you along the entire coast, thereby you will admire the coast. Don't forget to take warm clothes: the air temperature on the coast and in the mountains can differ significantly. Comfortable shoes and some clothes to cover your shoulders and legs, as you will be visiting a monastery.

This route runs along high-altitude (but safe) roads, from which stunning panoramas of the Budva Riviera and the Bay of Kotor open.

The first stop will be at the observation deck - 850 meters on Mount Braichi, from which a magnificent panorama of Budva opens riviera, the sea and the island of St. Nicholas!

Then the path will continue to the old capital - Cetinje.

On a walking tour of the city of Cetinje, the old capital of Montenegro, you will get acquainted with the history of the city, which dates back to the 15th century. You will be pleasantly surprised by a huge number of attractions: the Palace of Prince Nikola, the Blue Palace, the State Museum, the 15th-century Vlas Church with a fence made of the barrels of two thousand guns and many more interesting things. Visiting museums (optional).

    Цетине Цетине

After the walk, we will visit the Cetinje Monastery. It is rich in history and preserves the Hand of St. John the Baptist - three fingers of the right hand, who baptized Jesus Christ. A piece of the life-giving cross of the Lord on which Jesus Christ was crucified and the relics of Peter of Cetinje, the founder of the monastery. If you have crosses on your body and everything you purchase in the monastery shop, be sure to consecrate it on the holy relics by venerating them. As in Ostrog, you can also light candles here and write notes for your health and repose. The Cetinje Monastery is the center of the Montenegrin metropolis for the entire Serbian-Montenegrin Orthodoxy.

After a long stop in Cetinje, you and I will travel 22 km along the unusually beautiful places, which were given the name “Stone Sea of Montenegro”. Let's climb even higher to Mount Lovcen, at the foot of which is the ancient mountain village of Njegusi - the birthplace of the Petrovich dynasty. The village of Njegusi is famous for its delicacies, such as prosciutto - cured pork ham, homemade cheese and the unique mead with brandy. Well, if you like it, then you can take a couple of legs with you to your homeland.. (You are allowed to export Pršut, cheese and Rakia up to 1.5 liters per person) Of course, a stop in the village is expected for tasting and purchasing local specialties and souvenirs. And also a separate time for lunch.

After lunch we continue our path to the sea along a unique serpentine road with 25 turns, called the “Cattaro staircase” due to the steepness of the climb. It was built by the Austrians, running to the Bay of Kotor and the city of Kotor. The road offers magnificent views of the Bay of Kotor, the cities of Kotor, Tivat, Perast, Herceg Novi and the sea.

After descending to sea level, you will have a walking tour of the city. Kotor is a real treasury of medieval history and culture. Walking through the intricate labyrinth of narrow streets, through the most hidden alleys, you will see places that are not shown on regular tours. See the chambers of aristocratic families, hear the story of St. Tryphon - the patron saint of the city and see the Cathedral of St. Tryphon (1166) - the oldest operating temple in the Eastern Adriatic, as well as the unique 12th century church of St. Luke - one of the apostles of Jesus Christ, which has survived to this day!

You will also have some free time for an independent walk around the city, sit in local restaurants to drink soft drinks and simply buy various souvenirs for yourself and your family!

Lunch is provided in a national restaurant with famous local food: Lamb from Pod Sachem, grilled trout, dried prosciutto meat, cheese, chorby (local soups), kajmak, Shopska salad, young red wine and much more of your choice!

We return around 16.00-17.00 in the evening. This excursion is not tiring and is ideal for families with children, lovers of history and seascapes.
