The excursion continues to the ancient Orthodox monastery Tvrdosh. It is famous for its 15th-century wine cellars, where the monks use their own grapes to produce Vranac and other wines (including sweet wine) and even their own cognac (Vignac) - these cellars are open for visiting and tasting. In our time, the monks of the monastery under the leadership of Abbot Savva began a new chapter in the history of monastic winemaking. They took care of the vines in Trebinsk and Popov Polje. It is now known that the words from the old epic song, which mentions Tvrdosh and his cellars filled with wine, will become a reality. In Tvrdosh there are traces of wine cellars from the 15th century. Today, in the Tvrdos winery, dry red wine “Vranac”, white wine and grape brandy are produced in the traditional way. Be sure to buy a bottle of wine, or better yet two!))) You will not taste such quality wine produced here anywhere else in the world! Exported to 55 countries around the world.
