Skadar LakeOne of the most beautiful Balkan lakes is Skadar Lake. Despite the fact that the excursion starts in Petrovac, the bus will pick up tourists along the way and from other resort places, because the route is specially laid through Sveti Stefan, Przno, Rafailovici, Becici, Budva and other coastal cities. Therefore, along the way you will be able to admire almost the entire coastline of Montenegro. Remember that you are going to nature and the lake, so take with you a swimsuit, sunscreen, a towel and comfortable shoes (flip-flops). Program and description of the excursion to the evening Skadar LakeThe excursion itself starts at 13.30. Local residents and biologists have long given the lake another name - Bird Paradise. And all because there are an incredible number of waterfowl here. Pochards and ducks are not the only inhabitants of coastal thickets. Here you can meet herons, cormorants, pelicans (for the latter, Lake Skadar is one of those places in Europe where they can live in freedom). Moreover, pink flamingos come to Lake Skadar for the winter!

The route includes stops for rest and photography. To the hotel We'll be back in the evening, around 7 p.m. Throughout the entire excursion, tourists are accompanied by a licensed guide, who speaks excellent Russian. Tourists give the most positive reviews about excursions to Lake Skadar. The route in 2024 may be changed in the opposite direction through Cetinje or along the same road, depending on traffic jams. Please note that excursions in Montenegro do not start from the hotel, but from the bus stops. Carefully study all the conditions when booking an excursion! The coast is densely built up with buildings, and the area itself is quite mountainous, so the excursion bus cannot drive up to the hotel. To avoid misunderstandings, tourists approach the designated bus stops in advance. For convenience, select in advance the stop that is as close as possible to your hotel and mark this when booking. In the 2024 seasonthe excursion route will be by bus to Virpazar, then by boat on Lake Skadar and time for lunch. There will be no bus or boat access to the Crnojevica River. We will return by bus along the same road. Arrival time at the attraction, duration of stops and return are approximate. This may be earlier than indicated on the website, or 3-4 hours late. Be sure to read the “Tourist Memo”, which will be sent to you by e-mail along with the voucher. At technical stops, Montenegrins sell various homemade specialties (honey, wine, rakia...) - our advice: buy what you tried and liked, as it happens that they sell/get the wrong product that you liked during tasting.
