It is impossible to remain indifferent at the sight of the delightful architecture of the chambers of the rulers of the city, but the most powerful impressions await you in one of the oldest Christian churches on the Adriatic coast - in Cathedral of St. Tryphon (Tripuna 1166). A visit to the Orthodox monastery of St. Nicholas, which is included in the list of best monasteries and churches in Montenegro is a real gift for all believers, as is the excursion to the monastery Ostrog. Here you can venerate ancient images, submit notes about the health and repose of relatives and loved ones, and light candles. On the territory of the monastery, like a precious ark, stands the small church of the Apostle Luke: its architectural appearance has not changed since the Byzantine era, since 1195. Even the 1979 earthquake did not cause any harm to the temple, which was perceived by believers as a miracle.
