The route will begin along The side of Kotor Bay, passing Herceg Novsky, Tivat and Risan bays.

This city, a true medieval pearl of the Adriatic coast, offers a walking tour that will take you closer to its rich history and culture. But, be careful! Enchanted by the beauty of this place, tourists sometimes get lost for a long time in the intricate streets and labyrinths of Kotor!

It is impossible to remain indifferent at the sight of the delightful architecture of the chambers of the rulers of the city, but the most powerful impressions await you in one of the oldest Christian churches on the Adriatic coast - in Cathedral of St. Tryphon (Tripuna 1166). By the way, Saint Tryphon is considered the heavenly patron of Kotor.

A visit to the Orthodox monastery of St. Nicholas, which is included in the list of best monasteries and churches in Montenegro is a real gift for all believers, as is the excursion to the monastery Ostrog. Here you can venerate ancient images, submit notes about the health and repose of relatives and loved ones, and light candles. On the territory of the monastery, like a precious ark, stands the small church of the Apostle Luke: its architectural appearance has not changed since the Byzantine era, since 1195. Even the 1979 earthquake did not cause any harm to the temple, which was perceived by believers as a miracle.

Of course, you will have free time! You can spend it on a leisurely stroll through the Old Town. In the cozy restaurants and cafes of Kotor you will be hospitably greeted and fed with dishes of Montenegrin cuisine, served with local wine. Don't forget to buy souvenirs to remember your trip!

After getting to know the city, we’ll go to Budva!

We’ll visit the Old Town, which is 2500 years old, is one of the most ancient places in Montenegro with a lot of history. We will see the Citadel, the Church of St. Nicholas of the 7th century, the Church of the Holy Trinity of the 19th century and much more. It's a pleasure to walk through the narrow streets of the Old Town!

You can also walk along the fortress walls and see the outskirts of (entrance to museums is paid additionally and is visited upon request). In Budva, there will also be free time to visit local attractions such as the Citadel, walk along the walls of the Old Town, the Archaeological Museum, as well as separate time for lunch at any of the coastal restaurants or swimming on the beach at your request.

After lunch we will head to the most famous resort of Montenegro, which has made it famous for its beauty and grace - Sveti Stefan. There will be a stop for a photo from the panoramic platform, 40 minutes of separate time for an independent walk to the island and along the Queen’s beach, as well as Milocer Park.

We will return home by ferry crossing through Tivat.

Excursion details

The coastal zone in Montenegro is densely built up; a tour bus does not have the ability to pick up tourists at each hotel or villa - this will take too much time, and the bus will not be able to travel to everyone. Boarding for the excursion in Montenegro is carried out at the stops along the route marked in the booking, which can be selected when making a reservation on the website.
